MOBILITY HUMANITIES Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Please read the guidelines below then submit your manuscript.

Please note that manuscripts not conforming to these guidelines may be returned.

Only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of Mobility Humanities will be reviewed.

As part of the submission process, you will be required to warrant that you are submitting your original work, that you have the right to the work, that you are submitting the work for first publication in the Journal; that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere and has not already been published elsewhere; and that you have obtained and can supply all necessary permissions for the reproduction of any copyright works not owned by you.
 

The estimated time from submission to publication, if accepted, is approximately 9 months.

1. What do we publish?

Before submitting your manuscript to Mobility Humanities, please ensure you have read the information here.

Manuscript Types

In preparing a paper for submission to Mobility Humanities, you should not be uncritically exhaustive in synthesising research but might concentrate on the most promising and productive trends and developments.

Mobility Humanties consists of articles, creative/visual essays, book review(s), and an interview or dialogue, as well as special issues.

Papers are accepted for consideration on the understanding that they are not being submitted elsewhere.

Article should be approximately 8,000 words or less. Guidelines for Articles
Creative/Visual Essay should be approximately 3,000 words and ten images. Guidelines for Creative Visual Essay
Book Review should be approximately 2,000 words or less. Guidelines for Book Review
Introduction for Special issue, Interview, and Dialogue should be no less than 2,000 words. Guidelines for Introduction

2. Ready to submit your paper? Your ethics checklist

Before you submit, make sure you’ve:

  1. Read the journal’s guidelines for authors, and checked and followed the journal’s editorial policies.
  2. Named all authors on the paper, and the online submission form.
  3. Referenced all material in the text clearly and thoroughly.
  4. Carefully checked data and included any supplemental data required by the journal.
  5. Declared any relevant interests to the journal.
  6. Obtained (written) permission to reuse any figures, tables, and data sets.
  7. Only submitted the paper to one journal at a time.

Finally, notify all the co-authors once you have submitted the paper.
